This policy explains which cookies and similar browser records are used on turuncumotor.com, their purpose and lifetime, and how you can change your choice. It has been prepared on the basis of the Guideline on Cookie Practices of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.
1. What Is a Cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website you visit stores in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are similar technologies that do the same job; in this policy they are all referred to as "cookies".
Cookies are divided into those written by the site operator (first-party) and those written by another service provider (third-party) and, by lifetime, into session cookies that are deleted when the browser or tab is closed and persistent cookies that remain for a set period.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
- Necessary cookies: required for the site to work and for the service you request to be provided. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f).
- Analytics cookies: measure how many people visit the site and which pages are used. Loaded only with your consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).
- Advertising cookies: measure whether visits from our advertisements lead to reservations. Loaded only with your consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).

In addition to the cookies above, Google and Meta may use their own cookies on their own domains; the lifetime and use of those cookies are governed by the relevant company's policy.
The iyzico payment page you are redirected to for online payment runs on iyzico's own domain and uses its own cookies for payment security.
The Google map in the contact section is not loaded unless you press "Show map" or give cookie consent. When the map is opened, Google may write cookies on its own domain.
4. Consent
Analytics and advertising cookies and the scripts that write them are not loaded into your browser unless you consent in the cookie banner. Refusing consent does not prevent you from using the site or making a reservation.
When you consent, the data collected by these cookies is transferred to Google's and Meta's servers abroad (KVKK Art. 9). The scope of the consent and the possible risks of the transfer are explained in the Explicit Consent Statement.
5. Changing Your Choice and Withdrawing Consent
The "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page reopens the cookie banner; you can change your decision there at any time.
When you withdraw consent, the measurement scripts no longer run on subsequent page loads. Cookies written earlier may remain in your browser; you can delete them in your browser settings.
In the privacy or cookies section of your browser settings you can view and delete stored cookies and block new ones. If you delete the records belonging to our site, the cookie banner opens again on your next visit.
