About the BMW F800 GS ADV

The BMW F800 GS Adventure is an 800cc twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle that rents on a full A licence. Its 24-litre tank gives a long range, and it has a 6-speed manual gearbox. You must be at least 25 to rent it.

It can be rented from our Istanbul and Antalya branches and is used for multi-day tours: from Antalya towards Kaş, Fethiye and Pamukkale, and from Istanbul to the Black Sea and the Aegean. The tall riding position gives a good view of the road; at 249 kg it takes experience in city traffic.

For models between 600 and 900cc the daily distance limit is 200 km. One-way rental between the two offices is possible; availability and the fee are confirmed before you book. The deposit follows the adventure class.

F800 GS or R1250 GS: which one fits my trip?

Both need a full A licence and a minimum age of 25. The F800 GS is lighter and has a daily limit of 200 km. The R1250 GS is more powerful, with a 30-litre tank, a higher daily distance limit and a higher deposit. The F800 fits solo plans on mixed surfaces; the R1250 fits long paved tours for two.

Which licence do I need for the BMW F800 GS?

You need a full A licence; an A2 licence is not enough. If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet, an International Driving Permit is also required.
