About the Yamaha NEOS 4

The Yamaha NEOS 4 is a 50cc automatic scooter that rents on a category-B car licence. It is the only model in the fleet that does not need a motorcycle licence. With a top speed of 45 km/h it is not allowed on motorways, so it is used on city streets and coast roads.

You can rent it from our Istanbul and Antalya branches. In Antalya it suits the city centre and the coast road between Konyaaltı and Lara. In Istanbul it is used for short trips between neighbourhoods on one side of the city; plans that need a bridge or motorway call for a model of 125cc or more.

The daily distance limit is 150 km, which is hard to reach in city use. At 95 kg it is easy to park and to turn around in a narrow street. It suits first-time riders and visitors who only need to cover short distances.

Can I rent the Yamaha NEOS 4 with a car licence?

Yes. A valid category-B licence is enough for the 50cc NEOS 4, and no motorcycle licence is needed. The minimum rental age is 21. If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet, an International Driving Permit is also required.

Can I take the NEOS 4 between cities?

No. Its 45 km/h top speed and the motorway ban make the NEOS 4 unsuitable for intercity travel. For routes out of town, such as Antalya to Kemer or Istanbul to Şile, rent a model of 125cc or more.
