About the Yamaha NMAX 125

The Yamaha NMAX 125 is a 125cc automatic scooter that rents on an A1 licence. It has ABS brakes, a flat footboard and a storage compartment under the seat. Its top speed is 110 km/h, and it is used in the city and on short roads around it.

It is collected from our Istanbul and Antalya branches. In Antalya riders use it for daily trips between the city centre and the Konyaaltı and Lara beaches; in Istanbul for getting between districts and along the Bosphorus coast road. The Antalya city loop (60 km) and the Bosphorus coastal run (48 km) on our routes page both fit inside the 150 km daily limit.

Because weekly and monthly rentals are discounted, it is an economical choice for longer stays in the city. The 6.6-litre tank and 125cc fuel use mean few fuel stops. If you plan longer rides or will often carry a passenger and hold an A2 licence, look at the NMAX 155.

Which licence class rents the Yamaha NMAX 125?

You need an A1 motorcycle licence. A category-B car licence is not enough for a 125cc scooter; if you only hold a B licence, you can rent the 50cc Yamaha NEOS 4. The minimum rental age is 21.

Should I rent the NMAX 125 or the NMAX 155?

With an A1 licence the NMAX 125 is your option. With an A2 or A licence you can rent either: the 125 is enough for the city, while the 155 accelerates more easily on ring roads and hilly routes. Both have the same daily distance limit: 150 km.
