About the Yamaha R25

The Yamaha R25 is a 250cc twin-cylinder faired sport motorcycle that rents on an A2 licence. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox, reaches 175 km/h and weighs 169 kg. It combines sport bike looks with an engine that works for everyday riding.

It is collected from our Istanbul and Antalya branches. Because the fairing cuts the wind, it is less tiring than the MT-25 on open roads such as the D400 coast road between Antalya and Alanya or the motorway stages around Istanbul. It also works in the city, although the forward-leaning position tires the wrists in long traffic queues.

The daily distance limit is 150 km. Damage from racing or track use is not covered by the insurance; the R25 is rented for road use. The deposit follows the manual motorcycle class.

Is the Yamaha R25 suitable for everyday city riding?

Yes. The engine and clutch work well for daily use. The forward-leaning position makes it more tiring than the MT-25 in heavy traffic; if you will ride mostly in the city, the MT-25 is more comfortable.

Which licence do I need to rent the R25?

It rents on an A2 or A licence, and the minimum rental age is 21. With an A1 licence, the geared option in the fleet is the Honda CB125R.
