About the Honda CB125R

The Honda CB125R is a 125cc geared motorcycle that rents on an A1 licence. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox and a clutch, and it is the only geared model in the fleet that can be rented on an A1 licence. It weighs 130 kg and reaches 115 km/h.

It can be rented from both branches. For A1 licence holders who want a geared motorcycle instead of a scooter, it is a bike for the city and nearby roads: the city loop and the Kemer direction in Antalya, the Bosphorus coast road in Istanbul. The 10.1-litre tank gives a long range at 125cc fuel use.

The daily distance limit is 150 km. Long motorway stages are tiring at this engine size; if you plan to ride between cities and hold an A2 licence, look at the Yamaha MT-25. The deposit follows the manual motorcycle class.

Honda CB125R: frequently asked questions

Is the Honda CB125R suitable for riders new to gears?

Yes. Its low weight and 125cc engine make it a good bike for getting used to gears and a clutch. You need an A1 licence to rent it; a category-B car licence is not enough.

Can I ride the CB125R between cities?

Short stages are fine, but it is not suited to long motorway journeys. Routes that stay inside the 150 km daily limit, such as Antalya to Kemer or the Bosphorus line in Istanbul, suit this model. For longer roads choose a model of 250cc or more.
