About the Yamaha XMAX 250

The Yamaha XMAX 250 is a 250cc automatic maxi scooter that rents on an A2 licence. Two helmets fit under the seat, the tank holds 13 litres and the top speed is 148 km/h. It suits riders who want to combine city use with longer roads.

It is collected from our Istanbul and Antalya branches. From Antalya it is used on the winding coast road towards Kemer and Olympos; from Istanbul along the Bosphorus and on the road to Şile. Because it is allowed on motorways, it also covers the roads between the airports and the city.

The daily distance limit is 150 km. Over a rental of a few days you can do the city and one or two trips out of town on the same scooter. If you want more power and longer stages, the XMAX 400 rents on the same licence.

Which licence do I need to rent the XMAX 250?

It rents on an A2 or A licence. A1 and B licences are not enough for this model. The minimum rental age is 21.

Is the XMAX 250 suitable for two people on longer rides?

Yes. Its wide seat, passenger footrests and storage for two helmets suit day trips for two. On routes longer than the 150 km daily limit, split the journey over several days.
